It comprises four elected parent members, four elected staff members, the two School Captains, the President of the Parents and Citizens' Association, the Principal and two appointed community members. The elections for parent members are organised by the Parents and Citizens' Association and the Council representatives report back to the P&C and through the newsletter to the parents of the school. It is the Council's responsibility to determine broad policy directions for the school so it is very important that all representatives are aware of their constituency's opinions.
