ELECTIVES
Students can select from the following Electives:
Ceramics - Creating a selection of Clay objects using a variety of techniques
Drawing - Creating a collection of different styles of drawing in a variety of media
Fabric Art - Creating artworks on and with fabrics
Painting -Creating artworks using different painting materials and techniques
Printmaking - Creating artworks such as screen prints, relief prints and etchings
Sculpture - Creating 3 dimensional artworks using a variety of materials and techniques
Theatre Art - Creating sets, props and promotional materials for school based productions
Photo Art - Creating a folio of images using a variety of techniques
Digital Imaging and Animation - Creating a folio of images using both traditional and digital techniques
To have Visual Arts recorded with a Grade on your School Certificate you need to have completed 2 or 3 Elective courses:
100 hour accreditation: Any 2 elective Visual Arts courses
200 hour accreditation: Any 3 elective Visual Arts courses
SENIOR STUDY
Whilst the junior Electives are not a pre-requisite for studying Visual Arts in the Senior school, students do find the experience and skills gained in these electives is beneficial to Senior work.
The culmination of this Course is the production of a Body of Work for HSC submission and an exam.

Those students with a particular interest in the Visual Arts can participate in a variety of other school based extra curricular activities and put their creative skills to good use including:
